I've dug my grave and now I lay down to sleep:
sleep, my foe, my only enemy. I can no longer
grasp upon those realms of infinity, calling to my mind
the pictures that once enchanted me. Nightmares.
These nightmarish dreamscapes are all that I can
hold now. Quick clips of dark fantasies that plague
my brain and leave me cold, shaking. I'm shaking now.
Shaking with the memories of bathroom floors,
my porcelain prince. You haunt me just as much as these
nightmares. I am the queen of this land of the night,
this country bathed in shadows. My crown slipped down
around my neck and now binds me to these places
from which I want to escape. Escape is futile,
because you cannot run away from who you are.
I cannot run away from who I am. Runaway. Castaway.
Outcast in a society I created, now I am nothing
but a rag doll queen barely clinging to my sanity.
