procrastination is bad.

Procrastination is bad.

Let me repeat.

PROCRASTINATION IS BAD!

I just finished an seven page research paper on Humanism in the Renaissance in about...eh, four hours.

It's due later today, seeing as it is now one-thirty in the morning.

Word of advice: if you have a paper that is due one day, work on it at least a little before ten oclock at night, the night before the day it is due.

Or else you will have to down a pot of Cuban coffee and become a zombie like me.

Let's hope I get a good grade on this seeing as I didn't turn in a rough draft and desperately need to bring my grade up.

Well, actually, not desperately to most people's standards. I have a mid-B in the class, but that is horrible for me. Stupid perfectionism.

Perfectionism + procrastination = a completely insane and tweaked out individual.

Welcome to my life.

Have some Cuban coffee! *pours it on my head*

-UPDATE May 22nd-

This is not advocating procrastination in anyway. But I got a 95 on my research paper and that was due to the fact that I formatted it incorrectly. Perhaps I won't have a B in that class.

Its nice to hear.

I hear
your voice
down the hall, through the window, above
all those trees, a light
it seems
& you are singing. What song
is that The words
are beautiful.

Fired up for February! Good luck to you!
As all of us Write-Offers know, the project 007-WriteOff seems to have, slowly, fallen further and further behind in updates and motivation. None of us knew what would become of it. BUT WAIT! We now have new staff, energetic motivation and so much inspiration we're not even sure what to do with it.

So here's the deal: January is a new month, and a new year, to start over from scratch and remember what Write-Off is ALL about.

And in good ol' Write-Off spirit, we're kicking off the new year with a brand spankin' new competition. Want more information on entering and prizes? Check out the home page.

Now come on, you WriteOffers, you. Show us what you're made of.

Are you IN for January?

Love and be loved,
BA
